About ‘Life Half Glass Full’

Hi there πŸ™‚

Thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Archita Mitra. I am a 20-year old girl from Mumbai, India. I started this blog two years ago but finally got around to writing the About Page today, so that tells a lot about my ability to procrastinate.

I have three passions in life – food, reading books and writing. Writing to me is divine. It is the purest act of creation, it is magic. With some words you create your own worldΒ and mould the destinies of your characters.

People say there are two ways to see a glass with 50 percent water – half full or half empty. It is usually easy to see the empty part i.e. the bad in the situation. It is much tougher to put a positive spin on it. But that is what I aim to do in my posts see Life from a positive angle – half glass full. It will mostly about my own personal experiences. I shall also probably blog about the books I have read, the films I have watched, the places I have been to and so on.

I am the stereotypical wallflower or ‘girl next door’, with grandiose dreams of romance and adventure, but little else. This blog is my platform for sharing some of those dreams with you. Thanks for reading, and let me know if you like it, or even if you hate it!

~ Archita

  1. Hey!
I checked out your blog…it’s really nice. I liked some of your poems a lot, especially City Lights. And good decision accompanying them with gorgeous visuals. They are a real treat for the mind and the eyes πŸ™‚
